Day of rest.

Coffee.

Board games, Movies,

Brand New Toys.

Leftovers

for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Endless candy,

cookies & confections.

Laundry,

Garbage Cans,

Vacuum.

My daughter insisted that we play in the attic.

We obliged her for a while,

Let her open all the storage boxes

and rediscover baby toys.

In the evening, there was beer.

Our daughter fell asleep quickly

and we watched two episodes

of our current show.

I’m tired and

I haven’t

shaken this cough.

But I think tomorrow,

I’ll wake stronger.

The cards will be in my favor.

I doubt though that I’ll play them well.
